How does it work?

5 USC 552a (e)(3) Authorizes a citizen to use this form to collect information from the public servant to determine whether or not to divulge information to the public servant and employing agency….

This is your first form.  By law the cop MUST go along and answer all the questions…Most will just give you a warning and leave at this point, rather than answer the questions.

This paperwork notices him that if he ignores the law and writes you a ticket, arrests you, or takes your vehicle, that you will automatically file a restraining order the next day, and he will have to explain to the judge why he refused to follow the law after being noticed of it.  He will either have to tell the judge that he was “ignorant of the law” or that he decided not to uphold the law.  Either way he is in deep doo-doo!
